It is approximately 842 km from Toronto to Chicago. If you obey all traffic rules, it is around a 9 hour drive. Needless to say we felt a little peckish while en route. So, we took a much needed pit stop in the college town of Ann Arbor to satisfy our craving for a burger. Blimby Burger is the kind of place that many of the new Toronto joints are aspiring to be. These guys have been around for a while and have a loyal following. The staff was friendly and hilarious. They have rules on how to order your burger (see photo). We love the no cell phone rule!!! Here is a tip: do NOT order chicken. While it was tasty, your request might be followed with a snarky remark such as 'you know you are a burger joint, right?'
