Inspired by our love of food, cooking, and of course, eating. We visit culinary establishments and check out the local grub. Restaurants, diners, dives, carts, delis, trucks, mom and pop shops, hole in the walls, and unique joints are all game. We also love to get down and dirty in the kitchen. Chicago - Yolk

After arriving in Chicago early in the morning, we were rather peckish for a delicious breakfast.  Since Chicago is so gorgeous, we couldn't wait to sample the grub.  rather peckish fully trusts the pallet of the Mayor of Boston.  So when she suggested Yolk, we did not hesitate.  We went straight to Yolk.  We did not pass Go! and we did not collect $200.  The food was incredible.  Every dish looked and smelled amazing. Yolk did not disappoint. Yolk = Yum.  How's that for an equation?

BANANA NUT BREAD FRENCH TOAST
Three slices of banana nut bread dipped in special batter
and grilled. Topped with banana slices, powdered sugar, and
served with peanut butter. Yum!!
